Weird behaviour with low disk space

I am not sure how reproducible this bug is, but I currently have two partitions, one has less than the required 1024MB on it, another has roughly 4GB.

The installer offers me one "Installation drive" option, that is the partition with 4GB free. The only "Installation size" option is 3GB. However, if I pick another "Desktop Environment", it adds the second "3GB" option to the "Installation size" menu. Moreover, if I do it again, the third option, again "3GB" is added again. This continues forever as long as I keep switching "Desktop environment", even if it's back and forth between, say, Ubuntu and Kubuntu. A screenshot to make this haphazard description more clear is attached. I'll include the log with the follow-up post.
