evolution does not delete messages from source folder after moving

Binary package hint: evolution
after moving messages from my "On this computer" account to a local dovecot imap account, the messages from the source folder are not really deleted.
first they seem to be gone from the source folder but at least after repoening evolution they are still in the source folder.
