Bug Description

I am using Maverick 10.10. I tried to re-install the printer from the deb package using the Ubuntu software centre. I got this:

"There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks. Please report this error at http://launchpad.net/aptdaemon/+filebug and retry."

The printer is a brother DCP-150C. I have tried sudo lpadmin -x DCP-150C, but the lpadmin cannot find the printer or the class. The problem started when I removed a DCP1000 printer, but not properly. Then when I tried to update or upgrade I got a lock issue with one of the usr folders.

I know that there is a configuration issue somewhere and broken links, but as a linux newbie I have no idea where to start.
