Bug Description

I use Kubuntu Edgy amd64 on laptop TCM Cytron mam2070.

Everething work perfect till I decide to switch off the function 'suspend when close lid' (from clicking on battery icon). After a few days I decided to swith it on (again from the window that pop-ups when you click on a battery icon).

Now every time I restart, or log-off and then log-on again in KDE, the system immediately suspends.

Could you report the output of
cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID/state

Sounds like it's a duplicate of bug 66477.
