Bug Description
Since current estimates place IPv4 address exhaustion in the first half of 2011, IPv6 support is going to be important.
wicd currently only supports IPv4. This will cause problems as v4 exhaustion approaches.
Please implement IPv6 support in wicd.

A user of Arch Linux posted a patch for IPv6 DNS support. I don't know if it works, because I haven't tested it, but maybe it's really as easy as the patch look like. You can find it here:
