Bug Description

I found the following issues in the keyboard and mouse reference.

* Key stroke 'Shift + Ctrl + Alt + something' is not shown properly. (e.g. File > save a copy)

* Operations don't work
(I don't know that these are reference's typo or inkscape's bug)

1) Guide, Grid, Snap > Ctrl+click delete guide
-> guide doesn't seem to be deleted.

2) Node tool > Change node type
"If a cusp node is adjacent to a line segment, first Shift+S makes it half-smooth with one handle collinear with the segment; another Shift+S will expand a second handle."
-> I cannot catch difference between 1st and another.

version: inkscape-docs r419

Fix in progress (the current maximum key elements is 3...).

You're right, the new shortcut is Del (as of 0.47).

> 2) Node tool > Change node type
Confirmed. This behavior was added in 0.47, but no longer works in 0.48 and dev versions.

@~suv - did you notice this node tool regression?

3) Spiral tool > Edit by handles
"Dragging the outer handle adjusts the "turns" parameter. Use Shift+Alt+drag to roll/unroll without changing radius."

-> Alt+drag is correct for roll/unroll without changing radius, not Shift+Alt+drag.

Oddly, 'Shift+H' to toggle the transformation handles [2] doesn't work for me (0.48.1 and trunk on OS X).

All added in inkscape-docs, revision 443.
I've merged the Shift+I and insert key. Don't hesitate to tell me if there's a difference I've missed.

No problem on Ubuntu 10.10, Inkscape 0.48.0 and trunk revision 10228. Will test on Windows later.

Sorry - that was my mistake (sloppy reading of the sources): I was looking for a keyboard shortcut to toggle between the two selection modes (transformation handles on/off), but 'Shift+H' toggles between 'scale/stretch' and 'rotate/skew' handles (like 'Shift+S' in the select tool context). Works as expected with 0.48.1 and trunk on OS X.

Just curious - related questions to better understand the process how doc files are currently maintained:
1) current trunk still has three (outdated?) "keys*.html" files in 'doc/' [1] - shouldn't those be removed as well now that all current doc files have been moved to a separate repository (or do you manually update them by merging changes from the 'inkscape-docs' branch)?
2) changes in 'inkscape-docs' are pushed to the website <http://inkscape.org> automatically or does it use the same steps as other site content (commit to SVN inkscape-web and ask prokoudine to push SVN to the web server)? (I had discovered the missing shortcuts in the keys reference while recommending 'Ctrl+H' in a forum discussion (DE) and would like to report back there as soon as the docs which are opened from the 'Help' menu in 0.48.x have been updated.)

@~suv - 1) Since there already was a copy of the web file here in the older versions, I'm a bit reluctant to remove it. On the other hand, I'm quite sure almost noboby knows it exists or uses it. But if we keep it in the trunk, it should be same version as in inkscape-docs.
2) No, it's not automatic. I commit it to inkscape-web and ask Alexandre to synchronize the web server. I don't remenber exactly why I didn't commit the new ones, but I guess I was waiting for some feedback on the recent changes (translatable version, external CSS, new styles). Maybe I should share it now...
Ah, yes, I remember I was not sure how to name the translated files and how to organize it in the new web site. But for now, we could just keep the same naming convention (keys048.html) for the English version, and not publish the translated ones until the new site is up.
All suggestions are welcome ;)

@~suv - FYI, the K&M references (original and translations) are now up to date on the website trunk (and very shortly available on the website), in the trunk and in the branch doc/ folder.
