installer crashed and instructed to file bug report. new to ubuntu and 1st try at install

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I was installing ubuntu via usb installer and it crashes on install. Crashed twice in a row. I chose format hard drive and use entire partition. ubuntu version 10.10 my pc is a HP Pavilion DV 6000 32bit machine

The same happened to me on a HP nc8430, usb installer created with universal usb installer 1.8.3.3 from pendrivelinux using ubuntu-10.10-desktop-i386.iso.
