Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
Hi,
I have a Microsoft mouse wireless 7000. I was using the button 6 and 7 (the mouse wheel to the left and right) in the compiz-config manager to move to the left or right desktop. (cube desktop plugin). was working ok, But since today when i press the button only one time the cube move a LOT of times.
i did this to check:
xev | grep -i button
and i got noticed that when i press button 6 or 7 a lots of event is fired, like if i press the button 10 or 15 times.
Also i tried creating a new user and configuring again compiz with no luck.
i search on google and ask on the irc channel again, with no luck.

neohunter, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http:// cdimage. ubuntu. com/daily- live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications- >Accessories- >Terminal) , as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report:
apport-collect -p xserver- xorg-input- evdev REPLACE- WITH-BUG- NUMBER
Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful.
Thank you for your understanding.
