Hi, menu is indicator, or appmenu, firefox and all programs not works. they are displayed under windows, so I cannot see them, only if I have all windows minimized, I can see menu

Confirming this bug. Particularly annoying in Firefox because the menu bar is not integrated, so minimizing the browser window does not reveal the drop-down menu.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug 637827, so is being marked as such. Any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

With all due respect, the lack of integration of the Firefox menu bar reported in bug #637827 is a separate problem, that exacerbates the present bug by making it impossible to "find" the hidden menu by minimizing the browser window.

This bug reports that menus of various types, from various places including the shutdown button in the Unity bar, are appearing behind windows on the desktop rather than on top of them.

Please re-instate this as a new confirmed bug in Unity.

Thanks for the correction Omer; a bit odd to mark the earlier bug a dup of the later one, but so long as it gets fixed......

Doug's suggestion might be a clue, but that particular bug's history seems very complicated, even over a few days.
