Bug Description

i'm not sure if this started when i upgraded to edgy or if it happened after the forced filesystem check, but my swap space disappeared. i got an error saying that my swap space wasn't properly formatted when booting, and when i ran top, it was actually gone. i'm pretty sure it was because of the filesystem check, but maybe my ram somehow kept up with my computer without swap space for the last day or so...

so i mkswap-ed and replaced the uid stuff (which was generated by edgy) with /dev/hda5 (what it originally was) and rebooted and it works...

SO. either fsck is messing with the UID or edgy screwed up the UID.

This sounds like something went wrong when the UUIDs were added to the fstab.

mkswap obviously writes a new UUID to the partition
