Bug Description

Binary package hint: mutt

I was using the following command line:

mutt -s "hello" -i somefile.txt <email address hidden>

to send myself an email. My text editor then launches and if I exit the editor without modifying the email mutt drops right back to the shell without sending the email.

According to upstream this due to the fact that the file was not modified and mutt looks at the mtime of the file to determine whether or not to send it. Additionally it was marked as Won't Fix in Debian.

Changed in mutt (Ubuntu):
status: Triaged → Won't Fix
