Ubuntu One Windows shows too many balloon tips

I've been running U1 Windows (currently version 1.0.723.1147) on XP for a while, and while it seems to function OK, the continuous balloon notifications are really disturbing. I move dozens of small files through U1 daily, and showing a balloon for every U1 file transfer causes quite a "balloon-fest". This behaviour is radically different from the Ubuntu version, which works on the background without distracting users.

The only workaround I've found is to disable ALL balloon tips system-wide, as described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307729

My suggestion is to only show balloon tips for the beginning and/or end of a sync session, and provide file-specific sync information elsewhere (maybe the icon tooltip), if it's considered necessary. If some people really want to see all the balloons, a checkbox in preferences would be another option.
