Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Well I think we are close to find what is the cause that Unity doesn't work with ATI graphic cards when proprietary drivers are Installed. Bug #685682 :)
For this reason, I use Ubuntu Classic Session (GNOME). Today I selected Ubuntu Desktop Edition (Unity) just to see if the problem with Bug #685682 is fixed. But again nothing was working. So I went back to Classic Session where apport reported that compiz had crashed while in gnome compiz was working.
