Bug Description

and we should use it in offspring.

I'm bored of downloading 30MB just to find out the version of the kernel
that is in the hwpack.

This should be in addition to logging of what it is doing at runtime.

It's not optional, it's always created... so I think we just need to
update the linaro-image-tools that offspring is using.

No, but Cody knows :-)

linaro-image-tools 0.4 doesn't seem to be in a PPA though, do you know
why that is?
