Error: Invalid browser function table

When I start mozilla, the following messages appear:

If I go to a page with a Java applet, I additionally get

and the applet just appears as a blank box with a puzzle piece in it. The same applet runs fine in gappletviewer.

Distribution is edgy/PowerPC. Version of gcjwebplugin-4.1 is 4.1.1-14ubuntu. Version of mozilla-browser is 1.7.13-0.2ubuntu.

This problem no longer occurs with version 4.1.2-0ubuntu5 of gcjwebplugin-4.1, and iceape-browser version 1.1.1+u2-0ubuntu1.
