my system run very slow, my resolution at startup not fix. it exact"1024x768 - 24" not detect monitor

  Fix my setting mysolution on ubuntu 10.10. Now at startup my font and logo show " out of range resolution" but before it's 1024x768-24bit. i think reason is i install http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-to-Fix-the-Big-and-Ugly-Plymouth-Logo-in-Ubuntu-10-04-140810.shtml but not repair it. Please help me. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
