Whenever I use file manager to open a folder, music player opens and starts importing from that folder. I can't open folders outside of music box

Thank you for your bug report. It seems you associated folders with rhythmbox (e.g. by right-clicking a folder and chosing "Open with"), unfortunately the "Remember this setting" option is activated by default (bug #662194).
To fix the issue, try:
1. Press Alt+F2 and enter "nautilus" to start the file manager
2. Right click on any folder and chose "Open with Other Application…"
3. Chose "File Browser"
