Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

I tried to install Natty Alpha1 on Sandy Bridge desktop whose codename is Sugar Bay and the installation will hang and screen prints:
“[drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck time elapsed… GPU idle, missed IRQ.”

This IRQ missed is a GPU hang on a non-RENDER ring and this issue has been fixed in upstream.
