Bug Description

upgraded to ubuntu 6.10 over the network (not cdrom) this comes with firefox 2.0
Setup account for 'junior' to play games on www.nick.com
Firefox drew a blank screen and suggested I download latest flash from macromedia,
Now just going to www.nick.com crashes firefox !!!
note: going to www.cartoonnetwork.com shows the error message even though I just loaded the latest version:-

This Flash movie requires a newer version of the Flash plug-in. Please upgrade your Flash plug-in by visiting www.macromedia.com

Same behaviour on two laptops (Thinkpad 600E and Latitude CPx) running latest (up-to-date) Xubuntu Edgy.

If I install Macromedia Flash, gmail.google.com kills the browser. If I delete files from plugins directory, the browser returns to normal behaviour, but Flash items are not displayed.
