Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

I have reinstalled my laptop because I changed my HDD for a SDD.

On first install, on first boot, I wasn't able to change icons or gtk themes. So I thought something went wrong and decided to reinstall.

After second install everything seemed right... until I applied all awaiting updates, then the problem came back.

The only solution I have found is running

# sudo gnome-settings-daemon

From terminal after each boot... That is tedious.

The weird thing is that has never happened before I changed my hard-drive for a SSD...
