Bug Description

In the left side bar under your name you can read this:
Event
Page
Profil de point de support
Sondage
Story

In each language these are the same, which isn't really a problem imo.
But since event, page and story are english and sondage and profil de point de support it is a little out of balance.
it reduces readability.

I propose that we translate it to each language, it's 20 words in total, that isn't that much.

The page itself uses multiple languages to.
The first box has as title (in all 4 languages): Spoken languages.
The second box-title translates the commitments well.
The second box uses French text in Dutch, while The other 3 languages have everything in English (even the french page French)
The address titles are translated right.
The address bars are all in english (which I don't really have a problem with)
The Dutch 'add another item' button is in English

I think overall this isn't a big issue, it just makes the page a little less readable.
We have to pay the price of living in a country with 3 official languages...

I also noticed this and agree that the interface for creating new content should be in the native language in which the pages are viewed. This is so for the 'administer' section as well, so in the spirit of consistency the 'create content' menu should follow this too.

The translations of the Dutch commitments in French is an error.

Translations for most of the strings related to the Support point list is already available at https://translations.launchpad.net/support.points.map and will be imported.

That's for the Supporter profile page.

I'm not seeing the issue with French text under the "Create Content" menu item. In all language, I've the same entries in every language:
Créer un contenu
 * Event
 * Page
 * Poll
 * Story
 * Supporter Profile

In any case, English mixed with other language is a result of how Drupal handle translatable strings. Every translatable string from in English and translations are stored into the database. When trying to translate, if a translation is "missing", Drupal fallback to English.

So any text in English when the current language is not English is a missing translation. Any text in another language than the current language or English is a bug.

I installed an additional translation interface to allow "on site" translations (see
http://developmentseed.org/blog/2007/oct/26/new-features-and-improved-workflow-l10n-client). Members of the Web Editor team should be able to contribute translation on the site.
