Bug Description
Binary package hint: gwibber
I have been seeing the gwibber-service process use 90-100% CPU after running for a while.
The symptoms I have witnessed seem the same as bug #554005, but this is reported as fixed in a previous release of gwibber.
In short:
Gwibber starts normally with login.
After some time (never put a stopwatch on it, TBH, but a few minutes at least) gwibber starts using 90-100% of one CPU core. This continues until the process is killed. Res-starting gwibber seems to work just fine.
Please advise if more information is required.
Charlie
