Bug Description
I have tried several times to install mmex for amd64 (mmex_0.
"There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks."
The dialog box is titled "An unhandleable error occurred"
Update Manager reports system as up to date.
I have successfully added other programs thru the Software Center and Synaptic.

Same problem occurs when trying to install the 32 bit version
