Bug Description

Binary package hint: dansguardian

Dansguardian complains during installation via dpkg. (Possibly, this is a dpkg bug?)
Dpkg says that the version has bad syntax: invalid character in version number.
See below. However, it seems to operate after the upgrade and the complaint.

When I was trying to install dansguardian, I got the similar error in my Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit OS.
