natty studio does not load desktop after updates

Binary package hint: gdm

I have been testing Natty Studio.
Today I did all updates and re-booted.
The login screen seems as normal, but the system refuses to go beyond the login screen.
This is true for both desktop modes, including Classic and the newer one.
SafeMode also does not work.
There seems to be no way even to get to the command line.
I re-installed, but the same thing happened.
I am unable to access logs.

This isn't really a bug. Classic desktop works fine. It's just that integration hasn't yet been achieved for the default option.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue?
