network-manager-applet icon does not show properly

Bug Description

hi.
problem occurs on a up to date install on an acer aspire 9300 laptop with a GeForce Go 6100 graphic card.

since a couple of months, sometime the nm-applet icon doesn't show properly. here is a snapshot. the applet works nicely, but let say that once every X reboots, only half of the icon is showing up
