Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

This smells like bug #657728. Again, it is very unlikely that this is a problem with the slideshow since it is just a content package and the Debian packaging there is dead simple. Where are you encountering this error message? Is it at some point in the installer?

Unfortunately, I can't understand the error message. Google Translate tells me it says “can not remove the file info…”

The input/output error _is_ a litlte strange. Could you please run
ls /var/lib/dpkg/info/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu.md5sums
…and let us know what happens? There should be a file there if ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu is installed, and if there isn't something is wrong.

Do you encounter this problem consistently?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, the package installation log attached to this bug report does not contain any useful information this is likely because your root filesystem is full. This is probably why the package failed to install. However, could you check your system for a non-empty /var/log/apt/term.log and attach it to the report? Please set the status back to New if you do. Thanks in advance.
