Bug Description
Binary package hint: keep
Keep crashes if one chooses "Use default directory" when restoring a backup.
To reproduce:
1. Make a backup of some directory (possibly with some content)
2. [optional] rename/remove this directory
3. Use "Restore backup"
4. Click on the bottom checkbox and browse for a directory [maybe also optional]
5. Try to check top radio - "Use default directory"
6. Keep crashes in this moment
Using Ubuntu 6.10, fresh after update. Not sure if this happened in 6.06.

Are you trying to browse to a custom backup directory? I was able both on Debian Testing install and also on my Edgy install to be able to backup adn restore a directory.
A little more information would be great
