Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
I believe that in synaptic when a description contains a URL to a homepage it should be a clickable link. It should bring up the default browser with that url. The two tokens to look for of course would be http:// or www. (and something would have to be done to prevent both from being detected). Of course, i'm making the assumption that the rich text box that synaptic uses can have URLs in it, which may or may not be true, either way I believe it would be a great improvement.
(forgive me if there was a better place to request a feature than in the bug reports)
