Ralph,
Could you please compress your ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ directory and attach it to the bug report. That will help us debug the issue.

I've reinstalled ubuntuone and now nothing is working anymore. Starting ubuntuone-preference as root opens the Create Ubuntu One Account. From there I choose that I already do have an account and enter my credentials. Then I get told that to wait for the verification email. I'm never getting that.

I've also tried to create a new account and it's the same. I do never get the verification email.

Hello Ralph,

As per your log, the file synchronization daemon is working properly. You may be suffering from bug #674876, in order to confirm, please follow the comments on that bug. We'll appreciate any help you can provide to debug this further.

Regarding your last comment, I have 2 requests:

* please do not run ubuntuone-preferences as root, there is no need and syncdaemon will not work as root

* please check your inbox, the email should be there. If not, please check the spam messages. If the email is not there either, please file a new bug under the ubuntu-sso-client package (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-sso-client/+filebug) attaching all the log files located at ~/.cache/sso

Thanks!

Hi Naty

Sorry about this...I've completely forgotten about that thread. Yes it can be closed, all works fine after the other bug was fixed.

Thanks again
