Lightning uses wrong localization info (english lightning in German thunderbird)

Hi,

if I set my language to German, Thunderbird uses a German user interface. But if I add the lightning extension from the package xul-ext-lightning the lightning menu items are all English.

This problem has already been posted at http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/lightning-auf-deutsch/ . The workaround is of course installing the extension manually as user (not as package).

I have the same problem. Installing Lightning from the Mozilla page is not an option for me, because there are only i386 binaries for Linux, no PPC version.

Same for amd64. The problem persists in 11.04.
