severe ghosting in cloud row

i have downloaded an older version 3.1 (svn3176) that does not show the problem. this version was downloaded from harry van der wolf's web site (here: http://panorama.dyndns.org/index.php?lang=EN&subject=Hugin&texttag=Hugin).

Follow up: also the first build of version 3.2 that is available at Harry Wolf's web site for OSX (specified as 8 October 2008 universal standalone versions) works fine: no ghosting as with the current version.

Kunlun121 and I did some further testing.
We determined that ,despite, the previous comment from kunlun121, all 3.2 and above versions have this same error. This accounts for 3.2 CVS builds as well as all versions from Christoph Spiel's branch at "https://code.launchpad.net/~cspiel/enblend/staging".
The "only" version not having this issue is the mentioned 3176 build. (This name is incorrect. The enblend/enfuse was part of a massive release of statically compiled hugin tools as of svn3176. The enblend/enfuse version was actually a "first week of July 2008" CVS build.)

Another observation: It seems like the 3.2+ versions "use" lots of "distinct seams" where as the older versions only use a number of seams equal to the images. Is this observation correct?
