Mono tray icons

Now that Synapse has a tray icon, it would be nice to see it well integrated with Ubuntu. I attach a quick mockup of Ambiance style mono icons (.xcf file included).

While this is being implemented (or if it never is), could you share a way to change the tray icon manually? I have no idea what are the files to modify. Thanks.

It would also be nice if there was an option to disable the tray icon completely, I don't really need it.

Ok, new icons are here. I hope we get panel icons specifically for ubuntu-mono-dark, so that we don't have to mess with the main application icon. Radiance icons will take a while, but anyone is free to use my files however he likes.

I'm afraid we can't ship this atm, there is no way to make sure that the icon will work with both light and dark panels, and therefore it's up to theme creators to ship it themselves (the icon name should be "synapse-panel" to make sure it doesn't effect the main icon).

Here is a another color scheme designed for Elementary-monochrome, Monoblin, Equinox, Mint X, and Radiance (and pretty much any light panel). I've seen other apps (namely Shutter screen capturing tool) address this issue by adding a mono version to ubuntu-mono-dark and ubuntu-mono-light, while adding a fallback full color icon to hicolor; just to have Ubuntu covered.
