Bug Description

It is not possible to switch between the default album grid view [1] and the album list view [2] without digging in gconf-editor. More importantly, it is not at all possible to disable the album listing completely.

Hi there. Thanks a lot for reporting this as a papercut, however I am marking this as invalid as this constitutes a feature request. A papercut should be a small usability bug in an already existing feature. For more information on what constitutes a paercut, please see here https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut

As for the suggestion itself, I'm going to mark it as affecting both Banshee in Ubuntu and Banshee upstream and let the developers make a decision about the status of this bug.

Kamus, sorry, I don't understand. It's just one bug - that the flag for grid/list view for Albums is not visible in Banshee and can only be adjusted via gconf-editor. The two screenshots just show the effect of changing the flag, so it is just one bug.

Oh, unless you meant that I should file a separate bug report for disabling the album view entirely? Should I create that new bug report in the Banshee launchpad project, since it doesn't seem to belong in One Hundred Paper Cuts?

The option is in Preferences / Source specific / Music / Disable album grid, no gconf digging is necessary.
