Bug Description

On most boot attempts on the Dell Mini 10 (Intel 945 GM graphics), I am left with a blank screen when gdm starts. I hear the "ready to log on" sound and can log on (guessing from the harddisk sounds) - but the screen stays blank. Only rebooting solves the problem. But as said, this happens on most boots.

I have a dual boot configuration if that matters - first installed maverick, then natty. So grub presents me the text boot menu first before actually booting natty. Maybe there is some mode switching issue afterwards. Just a guess.
