Bug Description

I installed Natty Alpha 1. After installation 'isc-dhcp-server' service failed to start after boot.

asmok@ltsp:/etc/init.d$ sudo ./isc-dhcp-server status

asmok@ltsp:/etc/init.d$ sudo ./isc-dhcp-server start
* Starting ISC DHCP server dhcpd
* check syslog for diagnostics. [fail]

Dec 3 16:11:11 localhost dhcpd: Wrote 0 leases to leases file.
Dec 3 16:11:11 localhost dhcpd: Error opening '/proc/net/dev' to list interfaces
Dec 3 16:11:11 localhost dhcpd: Can't get list of interfaces.

asmok@ltsp:/proc/net$ ls -al dev

LTSP server can talk to network/internet from KVM box.

asmok@ubuntu:~$ ssh asmok@192.168.1.121

I updated & dist-upgraded ltsp server in KVM.

I removed dhcp server and use proxy dhcp. I needed also disable nbd proxy.

ltsp@ltsp:~$ cat /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/pxelinux.cfg/default
default ltsp
label ltsp
kernel vmlinuz
append ro initrd=initrd.img nbd_proxy=false nbdport=2000
IPAPPEND 3

All my test thin clients have blanc screen (Asus Eee 900, HP Mini 2133 and Atom/ION DIY). But I can login vie ssh.

root@ltsp138:~# cat /var/log/boot.log

 * Setting up LTSP client... [ OK ]
 * Starting LTSP client...... [ OK ]

After that I see (in boot process) 'Invalid card number' in every test thin client - and no LDM screen.
