Save file and it cann't open again

I had downloaded SVG files format. All of them I can open and change. But I save, or save as, then I cann't open again, and give a message "I cann' t open".
I use the last version 0.48. But I can open with older version, but not entire.
I can give you an example of two files of amount of them that it happens (
Spain_traffic_signal_r108.svg, Spain_traffic_signal_p24.svg). And save it changed file to p24.svg that cann't open it any more.

Caused AFAIU by incorrect (undeclared) encoding of content in AI-proprietary tags in the SVG file.
