There is a new upstream release of the plugin (1.69) which fixes this bug.

Link to developer-released .deb package with updated plugin which solves this problem.

Just needs @Jonathan Davies (package maintainer to "ubuntify" and push into the supported releases. Not sure if this would come into -backports or -updates for lucid.

Stevel, you can add further bug information by using the apport-collect command through the terminal.

eg:
apport-collect 683897

This will automatically add your system details to the bug report.
