Bug Description

The latest natty update changes the gconf key /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/panel from "gnome-panel" to "''". This has happened on all of my computers with natty, including a natty desktop installed from a live CD, as well as a minimal natty server that I installed some desktop packages on. This has caused the gnome panel to fail to automatically launch on login.

Hallo Delan
As workaround at login choose classic desktop or install proprietary drivers to switch on Unity.
