Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Natty Narwhal. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/. Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

I'm now using Natty Narwhal and I get a lot of little graphic problems, too. But I don't know how I can provide you useful information about these problemes.

If they are a different problem, it would be best to open a new bug report. However, if the cause is the same it may all relate to one specific graphics driver. Can you tell us which version of the nvidia driver you are using please?
Assigned to xorg for now.

I'm using nvidia-current (version 270.41.06). In the screenshot with nvidia-current I get a black artefact, using nouveau I get a blue artefact.

Ok, it can be blue using nvidia-current, too. But it's not related to minimizing.

Thank you for the information. I have set this to Confirmed for now, as it still needs classified, but a member of the xorg triaging team will take a look at this. Thank you again.

EOL have been reached, so no more maintenance. If that issue still exist, then report again using ubuntu-bug.
