Package installation sometimes fails on authentication errors

Bug Description

Installation uses the -y option to tell APT the answer is "yes" to any question. But APT ignores that when there are authentication errors. Adding --allow-unauthenticated to the install string should solve that.

Thanks, I'm not sure that we can use VTE (or at least I couldn't figure out how to) so I went to the current method (which is a bit crappy).

We should take donations to pay Jono to do it for us.
But I like the current method fine. Just needs plenty of testing.

Haha that's another thing...I think I'm going to put a donate link on the home tab so that we have a higher click rate and hopefully get a lot more donations.
