Thank you for reporting this bug. Apparently the package manager's installation file for the screenlets package got corrupted during the power outage. Try running the following commands from a Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal).
sudo dpkg --purge --force-all screenlets
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install screenlets
