Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

I'm using Maverick x64 and in this release when I pause a video in Totem sometimes playback begins several minutes or seconds back in the video. The time jumped is inconsistent and has on occasion goes right back to the beginning. I've tested with several videos and it's not one specific type, codec or length that triggers the behaviour, that I can tell, it's always present. The "skip" doesn't always happen either, I can pause, hit play, and pick up where I left off then just moments later pause and be brought back 10 minutes.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance and sorry for the late response.
