Bug Description
I ran Dapper on this Thinkpad T43, and have always had the following gnome power manager configuration for lid-close events:
* if on AC, blank screen
* if on battery, suspend
It used to be that if I closed the screen on AC and subsequently unplugged the power, it would then suspend. But now it remains on with the blank screen until the power has drained down.
Also, when I remember that it is doing this, and open up to the locked screen dialogue, unplug, and re-close, it resumes in an unworking state where I can't unlock the screen and the hard drive seems to churn.
