display refresh rate wrong

Bug Description
When I set the refresh rate for my display in kde this is only valid for the actual session. After logging out and in again the refresh rate is set to the wrong default value of 50 Hz.
In the xorg.conf I have set:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "Unknown"
ModelName "BenQ FP93GS"
HorizSync 31.0 - 83.0
VertRefresh 56.0 - 76.0
EndSection

There have been many changes in Kubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Kubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 681730
and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
