Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

when i am installing this software it gives an error =

" Package dependencies cannot be resolved"
This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable. Furthermore there could be a conflict between software packages which are not allowed to be installed at the same time.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Thanks for this report, roshan, and sorry for the slow response.

It's not clear whether you were trying to install clipgrab specifically, or whether you were installing something that depended on it.

If the former, Ubuntu has never had a package called "clipgrab".
<http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=clipgrab&searchon=names&suite=all&section=all> Were you trying to install it from a PPA, or a standalone .deb file, or something like that?

If the latter, Synaptic does not reveal any package that depends on "clipgrab". Can you name the package you were trying to install? Thanks.
