Bug Description

Binary package hint: arista

lsb_release -rd:
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
(amd64)

apt-cache policy arista:
arista:
  Installed: 0.9.5-1ubuntu1

Tested on a Kubuntu fresh install.
when starting arista-gtk, it fails with:
jd@ubuntu:~$ arista-gtk
** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GstObject)
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/arista-gtk", line 1669, in <module>
    gtk.window_set_default_icon_from_file(icon_path)
glib.GError: Couldn't recognize the image file format for file '/usr/share/arista/ui/icon.svg'

installing python-rsvg fixes it. I'd guess python-rsvg should be a dependency for arista.

I installed that but I am still getting the message listed above. I am running Mint 10 Julia 32bit. When I go arista-gtk in terminal, ** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GstObject) immediately comes up. When I put my video file in, select preset, and click on add to queue, it just says "idle" at the bottom. It doesn't gray out or anything. It never starts transcoding at all.
