@DantePasquale: I changed the title of this bug report because it wasn't helpful to solving the problem for you and wasn't helpful with making Ubuntu One better. We would be happy to help you get syncing working. I'll notify a colleague of this bug report and see if they can look into it. Dante,
Sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working as expected. The issue looks to be the metadata you have is for a newer version of Ubuntu One. Installing a newer version then going back to an older one can cause this issue. You need to repopulate the metadata using the current version installed. You can do that with the following steps.

To be safe please make sure you have a backup of any critical data in your Ubuntu One folder before following these steps.

WORKAROUND
1. Quit the Ubuntu One client. From the applet select Quit. Then open a Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and run the following to quit the syncdaemon.

u1sdtool -q

2. Delete the old metadata. In a Terminal run.

rm -rf ~/.local/share/ubuntuone

3. Start Ubuntu One as you normally would Applications > Internet > Ubuntu One

This bug has already been reported so i am marking it a duplicate of Bug #517505 . Any further comments or discussion should take place their. Thank you for reporting this bug and please continue to report any bugs you may find in the future.
