Bug Description

Ubuntu 10.10 64bit Maverick and Smb4K

Backround
-Fresh install of 10.10 and install of Smb4K
-Smb4K can browse the network and see the shares but cannot mount them

-Every share you click says: Smb4K mount cifs: permission denied: no match for /home/xxx/smb4k/xxx found in /etc/fstab (where xxx is my folder info)

Smb4K settings:
-Using Authentication Default Login
-All Smb4K Settings are default exactly like the 6 other Ubuntu machines sharing the server files.
-Domain = Workgroupname and the Default Login nothing special.

And Produces this message:
Smb4K mount cifs: permission denied: no match for /home/xxx/smb4k/xxx found in /etc/fstab (where xxx is my folder info)

Please advise how to get logs etc. so I can provide whatever info you may need to direct/solve this topic.

Oops forgot to mention the default Places/Network sees and shares as it should already, but lacks features I enjoy in Smb4k. Just wanted to mention there is not other apparent problem with the default sharing on Ubuntu 10.10 that I can tell, just the Smb4K install

Thanks

Also:

1. Turning on root privileges in Smb4k causes /etc/sudoers to be chmodded to 0640, which CAUSES SUDO TO FAIL EVERYWHERE. It requires booting into recovery mode and chmodding /etc/sudoers back to 0440!

2. Even after doing this, and fixing sudo, Smb4k still doesn't work, even with root privileges. It fails with a "no address found for hostname" message, which I don't understand. I can access the share in KDE with the smb:// kioslave. I even tried mounting it manually in Smb4k by putting in the UNC name and the IP address, and it still didn't work.

Smb4k works fine all the way back to Hardy, but utterly fails in Maverick.

Agreed,
Additionally I recently tried to sudo Smb4k as root; and it does mount the shares as READ ONLY

Smb4k is basically dead in Maverick at this point and totally functionless for me.

My older ubuntu machines are still working perfectly in the office with Smb4k and I could not be happier about those machines.

I may have to resort to duel booting to an older version on this machine until I can solve this.
