Binary package hint: empathy
every time i log in the empathy contact windows opens on my desktop. Its REALLY annoying. I have tried closing down the window and then logging off again buit the window still opens up again on login.
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu.

thanks for your bug report. have you added empathy to your system's startup applications list? could you use 'empathy -h' instead of 'empathy' this option is meant to start empathy window hidden in the background. pleas let us know if that solves the problem.
